You can download a digital copy of the 7th Edition of "Equity Valuation & Analysis" by Russell Lundholm and Richard Sloan book by clicking the registration button below. The registration process simply requests the name of the institution and the instructor where you will be using the book, allowing us keep track of ongoing usage.

Note on Print Version: 

We no longer offer a print version of the textbook and previous editions are now out of print. You may find old editions available for sale by resellers on marketplaces such as Amazon. Please make sure you don't mistakenly buy the wrong edition.

Updates for the 7th Edition:

The 7th Edition retains the same basic structure as the 6th Edition and includes the following updates:

·      The terminology for net financial obligations (NFO), net financial expense (NFE), and net borrowing cost (NBC) has been changed to financial obligations (FO), financial expense (FE), and borrowing cost (BC) respectively. The ‘net’ prefix was a holdover from earlier editions, where we netted financial assets against financial obligations. Since we no longer use such netting, the ‘net’ prefix was redundant and is now dropped (see pp. 107-112 of the book for details).

·  New cases added as follows:

o   ‘Will the Real Earnings Number Still Stand Up’ (evaluation of non-GAAP earnings, see Chapter 4)

o   ‘Name That Credit Rating’ (understanding credit ratings, see Chapter 5),

o   Bitcoin Strategy (accounting for crypto assets, see Chapter 4; wealth transfers via equity transactions, see Chapter 12).

·      New quizzes for Zoom, Wingstop, Nvidia, and Workday.

·  Minor errata identified in the previous edition have been fixed, along with other minor changes.
